When it comes to the quality of the ingredients in your pet dairy products you may be surprised to find some are unpasteurized and therefore, not safe for pets.
In a new video, the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) highlights the risks of unpasteured dairy products and recommends pet owners avoid them.
“We do not recommend any of these products for pet owners who are allergic to milk or who have sensitive skin,” says HSUS spokesperson Lauren Houghton.
“Pets that are allergic can easily become allergic to dairy products themselves.”
